Busy Berkeley senior puts college hopes on being a Tiger

To Clemson.

It's the only place she wants to go, so she can't justify applying anywhere else.

At the same time, she doesn't feel like a shoo-in.

Calling herself a "bad test taker," she's worried that her SAT score isn't high enough, but hopes that her grades and activities will help. She's in the top 5 percent of her class. This year, she's taking Advanced Placement calculus and dual-credit English and psychology. She's active in student government and on the yearbook staff.

She's not even sure what she wants to major in -- maybe commercial design or food science -- but she feels that it's Clemson or nowhere.

"I just wish I could fast-forward to February," she says.

Senior year

While she waits, she has settled into a routine.

After school, she works a part-time job at JP Morgan Insurance, where she spends a couple of hours each day filing.

In the evenings, her boyfriend of more than three years, Evan Hammond, usually stops by on the way home from football practice at St. John's Christian Academy, a private school in Berkeley County, where he is a junior.

Cool n bored: Keltainen mekko

Kävin eilen päivällä etsiskelemässä synttärilahjaa Markille keskustassa, ja huomasin Galleryn rekistä pilkottavan keltaista. Lähemmällä tarkastelulla sieltä paljastui aivan täydellisen ihana mekko, mutta yhtä kokoa liian isona. Tuota oli myös kokomustana ja kokeilin siitä oikeaa kokoa. Se näytti ihan kivalta mutta kyllä tuo keltainen oli ihan eri kaliiberia. Pienen etsiskelytuokion jälkeen varastosta löytyi vielä yksi sopivan kokoinen, ja oiken värinen. Ilahduin suuresti, ja hetken peilailtuani en pystynyt enää lähtemään kaupasta ilman tätä täydellistä kolttua.

-Elokuvan ennakkonäytöstä seuranneesta pariskunnasta huomion vei eittämättä Clooneyn nenän edestä upea Keibler. Keiblerin yllä nähtiin läpikuultava musta mekko, jonka halkio ulottui pitkälle reiteen. Myös urheilullisen Keiblerin mekon yläosa oli avonainen.

Keiblerin tyyli ei kuitenkaan ollut mauton. Raikkaan olemuksensa rohkeaan asuun yhdistänyt upeakroppainen Keibler oli kokonaisuudessaan upea näky. Karismaattinen Clooney saanee totutella vähemmälle huomiolle, mikäli mies viihtyy vielä jatkossakin hurmaavan Keblerin seurassa.

New Yorkin filmifestivaaleilla vieraillut pariskunta on nähty viime aikoina melko usein toistensa seurassa. Pariskunta vaikuttaa silminnähden onnelliselta.
